 MG 1565Junior Varsity | Coach McGrath

JV wins at home!

Junior Varsity= 24  vs Lake Forest= 0

BG Bills JV were able to avoid the rain and hold off LF, winning 24-0.  Isiah Flores added another 2 td’s, running hard all day.  He had long runs, making multiple defenders miss, and outrunning everyone else.  Fawcett with another couple long passes, hitting McGrath on both, one of which resulted in a long TD for McGrath.  Paulauskas 3-3 on extra point kicks.  Martin, Oloman, Glassberg, Aghakhan, Vandyke, very impressive upfront, paving the way for the RB’s all day.  Hall with some outstanding lead blocking, doing the dirty work.  Gleyzer with some punishing blocks, sealing the end.  Robinson, lining up in multiple positions on O, contributing wherever needed.  Barker stepped up, controlling the O, not missing a beat, and nice job in the double gun.  Themba, Patel, Owens, Rios, nice job running the rock.  Oloman, Paulauskas, Farid, Gueorguiev, and Aghakhan in the backfield all day with multiple TFL’s and QB sacks.  Robinson big time break on the ball and INT, securing the shutout.  A - Richmond, mutile tackles behind the line of scrimmage, nice motor.  W - Richmond, nice play at corner and TE. Gomez with some interior dirty work.  Gracia, spin move baby, nice job.  Mac Jones from the press box, feel better.  Izzy and Lynch, heal up.   Great team win!

Bills win at home!

Middleweight Big10= 26 vs  Grant Jr Bulldogs = 0

Week 4 and the Big Ten Middle team played through the wet conditions to post its 4th shutout of season on their way to a 26-0 win over the Grant Bulldogs. O Line and D Line dominated again, you boys are the key to winning these games. Defense posted 5 turnovers. Running backs Staub, Kenny, Benthusen and Guzman ran up and down the field. Crawley showed off his big arm. The boys will be tested this Sunday at Crystal Lake. Game highlights are:

• Jack Staub starts off the scoring with a 5-yard TD run
• Finn Kenny zigs and zags for the 25-yard TD run
• Aidan Crawley hits Griff Suren for the 77-yard TD pass. That’s right 77 yards, I doubled checked it. Beautiful
throw and catch.
• Crawley then hits Tyler Baker for the 51-yard TD pass. Those Crawley’s can throw!!
• Harris, Nitti and Top Menaker with fumble recoveries
• Coffey and Staub with interceptions.
• O Line of Coffey, Harris, Nitti, Branas and Nelson making the Offense go. You guys are key to success

Bills lose at home:(

Middleweight Pac100 vs Libertyville=19

Middleweight Pac10 fell victim to Kenosha. Between clock consumption and giving us the wedge, Middleweight Pac10 could not stop the Ramblers.

Beginning with Kenosha eating up the entire first quarter on offense, without a score, the Bills Pac Attack Crew continued to provide pressure, but could not ultimately stop the Ramblers from scoring within the first few minutes of the second quarter. After a stop on the extra point, our offense started to get to work.

Early success with some large holes allowed our offensive team to march down the field. However, coming up short is extremely frustrating. When the Ramblers took over again, they heavily relied on #9 for first downs. Luckily our defense was able to hold them. Offense took over and began fight back but, the Ramblers held their ground and later scored a touchdown before the half.

The Bills started the half with the ball and the Ramblers stormed into the backfield to stop us quickly on a few plays, however we made progress slowly down the field. Unfortunately we lost the ball in a fumble thus giving the Ramblers the ball back. They continued to march down the field to score once more in the fourth quarter.

The Bills had a tough game converting yardage into points, however, given the weather they played tough.

Our boys had a tough week, down but not out. We will rise again.

We look forward to next week's game with undefeated Crystal Lake.

Bills Win at home!

Featherweight= 7 vs Grant= 6

The coaching staff for the Featherweight Big10 squad is proud of their victory this past weekend versus Grant. It was a hard fought and close game ending with our boys coming out on top.

Bills win at home!

Bantam= 33 vs Grant Jr Bulldogs=0

For the would-be Homecoming week, the Grant Jr Bulldogs visited Emmerich East, to meet the Bantam Bills.

The Bills defense was as amazing and relentless as ever, and the Jr Bulldogs were prevented from making a single first down. Grant had no answer for Phil Pelts, who had pancake after pancake in the Bulldog backfield.

The offense made a statement, by giving the ball to Duncan Suren, who scampered into the end zone on the first offensive play of the game!

In the 3rd quarter, the Bills' Courtesy Backfield made their debut, with Artur Cara taking over at QB, and Aidan Noe at 2, with Jax Baker (since Suren made the first play of the game) and Esteban Plata at 3 & 4, respectively.

Each of the 1st team running backs (Bowie Rickmond, Jake Blair, Duncan Suren, and Jax Baker), AND one of the courtesy running backs (Esteban Plata), got touchdowns, in the 33-0 rout of the Grant Jr Bulldogs.

The boys will celebrate today and tomorrow, then it's time to get serious on Tuesday, as we prepare for the undefeated Crystal Lake Raiders team, on their field, next Sunday! Last year's Bantam families will remember the Crystal Lake game as the "Mud Bowl" of 2018!

Here's hoping the weather holds, and the Bills hand the Raiders their first loss of the season.
